Gonna be alright

Hey sweet bloggers! I have so much to post about, but unfortunately Team Nelson is having technical difficulties. Our internet has been down for almost a week! We have made numerous phone calls with our local cable company and one unsuccessful visit. It is so frustrating for me and there comes a point when the cable people don't get to speak to the "nice one" (me) and they get to speak with the "not-so-nice one" (hubby dearest). I have to admit that I love it when he takes over and deals with their excuses and shinanigans. Please tell this has happened to you? I feel completely disconnected from my favorite blogs and posting. I have a lot to share from last weekend and will probably have an extremely long post the next time.

On a happy note, I have some picutres I want to share with you. I have window treatments on my mind and have been looking for inspirations all over the web and past issues of Domino (oh, how I miss you). I wanted to share a few of these beauties and hope y'all enjoy them too. If you have any inspiring posts or websites to suggest feel free to comment away.

  1. Haha! Great post. Sorry about your internet. We have had those issues as well. Although, I am the mean one when it comes to stuff like that ;)

  2. If you're working with Comcast, then I feel you! We had to use them here in Savannah b/c AT&T doesn't service our area and I am NOT loving it! I actually told AT&T how much I missed using them, so they have our account open still and they're crediting me for the five months of service I can't use until we move back to Atlanta and can get connected again. I really like them, maybe you could give them a try?

  3. I sympathise...We are always having internet issues. I think its just part of the technical world. Im the 'not so nice one' as I deal with it mostly and it gets to me. Who has the time to be dealing with it? Anyway, sorry its a sore point with me... love the window treatments, especially the last one - is that Missoni cushions - yum. Im currently favoring white roman blinds, and linen curtains. Thank you for your comment on my recent post. Have a lovely weekend.

  10. All of those photos are beautiful, loving all the window treatments. I really like the fourth photo down. I have windows like that on both sides of our fireplace in our living room that I have been wanting to add something to for years. I just cannot make up my mind with what I want to do to them.

Good luck getting your internet fixed...that is the worst!

  13. I have drapes on the mind too!! I've been searching and searching and the ones I think I'm going with are the Peyton Linen Cotton Grommet Drapes from Pottery Barn. If you have any suggestions where I can get that look and quality without the high prices..it would be much appreciated!! :)

  14. I love pictures of those rooms! Goodness, they are all lovely. I love looking through old Southern Accents magazines for decorating ideas. I'm needing some window treatments for our guest room, but I haven't found anything yet.
