We're stuck

Anyone in the South East knows what happens when wintry weather reaches our area... everything shuts down. Right now we have a few inches of snow and a lot of ice. Unfortunately, we do not have the equipment to deal with this kind of situation so the city/state closes up shop. Therefore, dear friends, I have a snow day! This means I am reading magazines, finishing a book, and doing some online window shopping all from the comfort of my comfy couch and sweats. (This may call for some delicious hot chocolate!)

Not a bad start to the week for us and a great way to get ready to watch the National Championship tonight. I hope it's AUsome!

  1. Snow days don't sound so bad now, thinking about lounging on my couch!

Good luck, we never get snow unless we drive about 45 min into our local mountains. I kind of like it that way, but I often wonder what it would be like to live in a place where we can make snowmen in our front yard!

  2. I'm so jealous! We got 8 inches of snow and I had to come to school today :( I hope you enjoy your free day!! :)

  3. Hope you had fun!! I can't believe how much we got!

  4. We got about 18" yesterday - craziness! Today was a gorgeous sunny day, and yet schools and daycares were closed today, too. hope you're enjoying a little of the white stuff!

  5. Katie, thanks for your sweet comments! Let me tell you though, professional hair and makeup does make things look a lot better;)

I am missing GA right about now....I love the way everything shuts down for snow. My hubby only got one day off for our 6 inches:)
    Hope you have fun!

  6. I hope you enjoyed your snow day and that big Auburn win! :D

Thank you so much for your comments! Hearing from you makes my day!
