Empress Stationery

Greetings Bloggers! I wanted to give a little attention to a great blog and talented friend of mine at Empress Stationery.

Jessica and I have known eachother since our college days at Auburn. We met through mutual friends and this past year have been reunited at the publishing company where we both work. On the side, Jessica designs and creates the most gorgeous stationery! She makes labels, invitations, save the dates, thank you cards, etc. I am pumped to show you some of her work and I know many of you will appreciate the color palettes and use of design. Enjoy!

  6. Hi Katie. Ooh, I love that Peacocktail one! Thanks for your comment about my Dining Room. I've been meaning to respond to your question though wasn't too sure what you were asking - sorry, my brain must still be in holiday mode! I have lots of timber throughout my house (both because hubby loves it and it can help add warmth and character). A lot of my furniture is the natural timber colour though other pieces are stained darker to add extra depth. I don't see any reason why you couldn't keep your oak dining setting. I guess it just depends what you team with it. I like to use texture (in fabric and natural elements etc.) to help bind a space and add extra interest. Maybe you could try that? Let me know if you've got any further questions or would like some advice - I'm not claiming to be an expert though I love interior decoration and would be more than happy to try and help!
